The contemporary chair and sofa family, which takes its design cues from the easy-going versatility of outdoor furniture, is now reimagined as a minimalist collection that promises to stand the test of time. “Outdoor seating has a relaxed, flexible vibe and we wanted Rosa to exude that. We were also inspired by the minimalism of Marcel Breuer and Mies van der Rohe’s classic tubular chair designs. Paring back our prototypes, we pushed for that functional elegance with a soft, playful feel in combination with uncompromised comfort levels,” says Boss Design creative director Ceri Lovett. The new collection can be combined with various textures, patterns and colours, allowing users to create a truly personalised piece of furniture that suits a variety of settings. “Eco leather and a black frame are an enticing combination for premium hospitality spaces, while textured wool fabrics take Rosa in a cosy, intimate direction. Light shades and smooth fabrics make Rosa equally appropriate in office lobbies, breakout and work café areas,” says design director Mark Barrell.
