It’s easy to forget when it’s the height of summer and the sun is beating down, but our motorhomes are incredibly sophisticated pieces of kit that are built to withstand the coldest weather. This was brought home to us this month, when we attended a cold chamber test at Truma’s HQ as guests of Benimar – it put its motorhomes through nippy -15°C temperatures to gain the coveted Grade 3 accreditation. We followed the process every step of the way, and it really is fascinating – turn to p90 to find out exactly what happened.

In between working on magazine pages, we’ve also been passing around a copy of our contributor Andrew Jenkinson’s new book, The Motorhome Story. It’s an amazing look at how our pastime began more than 100 years ago – you’ll find some brilliant extracts from the book on p102!
