The French Piano School MARGUERITE LONG Volume 2 This second volume of Marguerite Long, doyenne of French pianism, includes premiere recordings of Ravel’s G major Concerto and Milhaud’s First, as well as the first-ever recording of Chopin’s Piano Concerto No. 2, never previously reissued.

WALTER GIESEKING Debussy: the first Columbia recordings Walter Gieseking’s name has long been synonymous with the music of Debussy, but today we know him largely from his later1950s recordings; here we have his earlier accounts, made in the 1930s and 40s, and considered by many to be even finer.
