The Jennifer Bate Memorial Organ Scholarship is a wonderful opportunity to gain experience as a young organist . Through my two-year tenure, St Catherine’s has provided me with a plethora of opportunities to play, accompany and conduct the Chapel Choir in weekly Boarders’ Chapel and special school ser vices, as well as inspirational masterclasses with Katherine DienesWilliams, the Organist and Master of the Choristers at Guildford Cathedral, which have really brought me on as a player.
