We l c o m e
What a wonderful weekend the recent Coronation bank holiday weekend was. And no, not just because we had an extra day to enjoy ourselves, but because May signals the start of summer and, with it, the longer days and warmer weather.
Of course, these are loaded words as the weather was not the best over part of the weekend, which was also the weekend of the first campervan festival organised by my colleagues at Warners Shows and hosted by our sister title, Campervan magazine.
I have to say it was a pleasure to meet so many MMM readers at the festival. We know campervans are owned by many of you and it was so interesting to hear readers’ tales of why they moved from a motorhome to a campervan and why, in a few cases, it was the opposite, with them deciding a motorhome was more suited to their needs.
right for you, not what is on trend … and then get out and enjoy it as much as you can.
And that was the other pleasing aspect of the festival – despite the inclement weather on the Saturday, everyone was so happy, from children splashing in the puddles to adults chatting and swapping tips and advice; I don’t recall seeing anything but smiling faces.
I ’m already looking forward to next year’s Campervan Campout, which will be over the 2024 early May bank holiday.
But, if you can’t wait until then, we do have a full calendar of other shows to tempt you – to see what’s coming up, just head over to outandaboutlive.co.uk/shows
