This is one of my favourite times of year, and it’s not just because of all the bank holidays. It properly feels like summer is just around the corner – the trees are green, flowers are blooming and the days are longer. The sun even pops out to say hello, now and again!
After a soggy start to the year, hopefully we will get to enjoy some sunshine and warmer temperatures this summer, which always makes camping a lot more enjoyable. Although, maybe not if it gets as hot as last year!
Speaking of bank holidays, we will have had three in May thanks to the coronation celebrations, so I hope you’ve been making the most of them. I always think of Easter as the start of the camping season, but really the halfterm school holiday at the end of May is when it properly starts to get going.
Campsites are getting busy every weekend so make sure you book ahead to get a place on the site you want. This special issue is packed with advice and ideas for all your summer 2023 camping adventures. Have a great one...
