Where are we? Vatersay, Outer Hebrides Why tour here? Vatersay and Barra – accessible by causeway – are renowned for their white sand beaches. Vatersay is also the start of the Hebridean Way walking and cycling route. It’s a tombolo, separated in the middle by a narrow isthmus.
