Promotional Feature Clerkenwell Design Week celebrates a full-scale return to EC1 with its most ambitious edition to date Clerkenwell Design Week (CDW), the UK’s leading design festival, returned 23-25 May 2023 and welcomed 37,725 visitors from both the UK and overseas – a record breaking number of attendees for its 14-year history. 'We’re absolutely delighted with what we achieved this year – not only because we reached our highest visitor numbers yet, but also because we were met with so much excitement and enthusiasm from our visitors and the wider A&D community,' says Marlon Cera-Marle, Director of Design at Media 10. 'This year we made a full-scale return to Clerkenwell and with our most extensive programme to date. Everyone was looking forward to seeing cuttingedge products and meeting with their suppliers and peers again,' continues Cera-Marle. The stand-alone event will bring the area to life as CDW’s iconic pink trail, flags and window vinyl return to EC1. The two-day programme will be jam-packed with engaging events all within walking distance, allowing visitors to explore the area with ease. CDT showrooms will showcase product launches and new collections as well as host workshops, talks, demonstrations, parties and more, spotlighting Clerkenwell as the UK’s most important hub for design.
