Then again, The LEGO Movie was a complete surprise to everyone when it arrived in cinemas a decade ago – audiences expected a 90-minute toy commercial, but found themselves watching something much more awesome than that. If you want to reconnect with the movie in a more visceral way, then we have instructions to follow for mini versions of the amazing mech that Emmet builds in the final act and Metalbeard’s bizarre pirate ship, the Sea Cow. There’s a new experience that takes the same wacky approach that the movie did – LEGO Fortnite. Head of LEGO GAME Remi Marcelli and Epic Games Creative Director Eric Williamson reveal what they hope to achieve from this new collaboration in an exclusive interview. Design Master Mike Psiaki also brings us up to speed with what he has been working on – a detailed replica of the Ornithopter that is flying back into action in Dune Part Two. Features Writer Anthony Walker-Cook celebrated his wedding day recently (congratulations!) and managed to sprinkle a few bricks into the very special occasion. He speaks to other married LEGO fans to find out how they brought the hobby into the big day, through table centrepieces, cakes and even build activities for guests.
