The RCH PICU: • operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year • has 30 physical bed spaces in our Rosella ward • delivers the state-wide Paediatric, Infant and Perinatal
Emergency Retrieval (PIPER) service • is a national funded centre for paediatric heart, liver and lung transplantation, Norwood procedure and staged surgical palliation for hypoplastic left heart syndrome.
