One of a number of beautiful rugs in the W&S Afghan collection, all hand-knotted in handspun, vegetable-dyed Ghazni wool 02 Collective Black, Carlotta Fortuna x Amini. First released in 2022, the Collective collection remains a striking and also popular design with outstanding texture - 05 05 04 04 03 Water, Spencer Fung x Christopher Farr. Designed by naturalist architect and artist Fung, this collection of three Afghan-made rugs is a recent Farr release 04 Saphir, Oritop. With three generations already having worked with Afghan weavers, the Austrian company can claim to have Afghan rug expertise 06 07 07 Seychur carpet, Rica Basagoiti. The first Afghanistan-made rug by the Spanish brand and perhaps not the last 08 Rug by Caravan Rugs. One of many soft, classic designs by Caravan that are handknotted in Afghanistan 05 Girih, Knots Rugs. This spring, Knots released two rugs made in Afghanistan in partnership with Turquoise Mountain 06 Darya, Amu Weavers. The Lahore-based company owns its own workshops and looms in Northern Afghanistan 08
