We are excited to be back in Manhattan to host the fourth edition of our boutique trade show COVER Connect New York (CCNY) this September. Forty dynamic rug brands are participating—all carefully selected to ensure that buyers encounter the broadest possible range of high-end rugs and carpets spanning every style, construction and application.
Together, the companies’ owners and sta bring a wealth of experience, knowledge and passion for handmade rugs, weaving,
design and innovation. Their shared expertise and capabilities mean that visitors to the show can not only shop for the latest product o erings, but can also be inspired by design-led collections and educated in discussions with forward-thinking, knowledgeable rug-industry people.
A collaborative atmosphere is integral to this show, which aims to support and promote those exploring and developing the extraordinary and timeless potential of woven flooring, from

the traditional Persian or Turkish rug to ultra-modern art piece and everything between. The event is held at the same two intimate neighbouring venues as last year, in Chelsea.
Material specialists Design Materials Inc (plant fibres), Sumaq Alpaca (alpaca) and Pampas Leather (cowhide) are all returning, as are many other favourite regular exhibitors such as French Accents, Zollanvari, Samad Rugs, Kirkit Rugs, Stark Studio Rugs, Lapchi, Caravan, Anadol Rug Company, Creative Touch, Tibet Rug Company, Eliko Rug Gallery, Knots Rugs, Jaipur Living, HRI and more.
We’re pleased to welcome several new exhibitors for 2024: the inimitable Lila Valadan from Hamburg; Momeni and S&H Rugs who showed at COVER Connect Las Vegas in January; and Bespoke Tibetan Carpets, who will host an awards ceremony on the evening of the show’s opening day, Saturday 14 September. ‘Woven Dreams:
A Tibetan Rug Art Competition’ is being held to celebrate and promote the rich heritage of Tibetan rug artistry while fostering creativity and innovation within the global Tibetan artistic community. The winner of the competition will be announced at Tibet House US, and the owners of four CCNY exhibiting companies—Battilossi, New Moon, Tamarian and Creative Matters— are on the judging panel along with COVER editor Lucy Upward.
Another exhibitor, Rug & Kilim, will host a Pre-Party and 2025 Fine Weave Collection Preview at its Long Island City showroom on Friday 13 September, ahead of the CCNY opening day. Plus the popular COVER Connect New York Party will be held in a private Manhattan bar with a rooftop terrace on Sunday 15 September. COVER Connect New York registrants are all invited to attend these a liated events and can RSVP upon registering to attend the show via the CCNY website. Registration is open now!
