Stick around for more exclusive interviews including an archive interview with Steve Harley, producer Hugh Padgham, singer and author Tessa Niles and iconic Irish musician Gavin Friday. This year, there are plenty of classic albums celebrating their 40th anniversary so we delve into a choice selection of those albums including Spandau Ballet’s Parade, David Sylvian’s Brilliant Trees and Prince’s Purple Rain. Plus, an in-depth look at New York Dolls’ seminal Too Much Too Soon as it marks its 50th anniversary. In reviews, we cast an eye over new releases by The The, Propaganda and Gavin Friday as well as reissues and compilations including Ultravox, Bronski Beat, Alphaville, a-ha and Fairground Attraction.
