THE BIG SHOT BRITTANY
Where are we? Les Dunes de Mousterlin, France
Why tour here? The dunes at Mousterlin form a delightful strip of sand that provides an important ecosystem for marram grass, sand poppies and sea cabbage on this marshy part of the Brittany coast. The White Sea itself is a lagoon stretching between Mousterlin and Bénodet, which at low tide reveals a sandy seabed and at high tide, rises to become a small inland sea. It’s a brilliant place to take a tour – find out more about visiting the area on p44.
Don’t miss... Spend a day at Les Dunes de Mousterlin and revel in their breathtaking natural Breton beauty – no stripy top required!
