We’re in for another great season with a number of significant new models arriving in the UK. What is clear from the new models we have already seen is that buyers – especially those of you looking for a new campervan – have raised expectations. There is now a desire from many buyers for models that offer the chance for more adventurous tours.
This doesn’t just mean all-wheel drive base vehicles (although these are increasingly common), but also the ability to live longer off-grid without hook-up and not empty the loo so often.
Composting, chemical-free and even water-free loos, gas-free ’vans, high-power solar panels and lithium battery packs are all becoming more common.
Not only are these ’vans cleaner and greener, but they also answer that desire of many owners to be able to get out wherever and whenever they want without having to be (literally) hooked up to a location or service.
