In Focus: COMO NO JSCA at London’s Jazz Cafe for Como No’s La Linea festival in 2024 @ d o s c o n e j o , L a L i n e a F e s t i v a l a n d L a C h o n g a Since the 1980s, Como No have been at the forefront of introducing the UK to some of the best music Latin America has to offer. The organisation has curated countless unforgettable shows with the likes of Celia Cruz, Gilberto Gil, Buena Vista Social Club, Natalia Lafourcade, Lila Downs and Cimafunk at prestigious venues such as the Barbican, Royal Albert Hall, Union Chapel and The Jazz Cafe, as well as hosting their landmark annual festival, La Linea, which celebrates its silver jubilee in 2025. Its accomplishments owe much to its undiminished passion for creativity and a set of core values which put a premium on communal representation and connectivity, as well as a holistic approach to event-artist management, one to which Como No’s Executive Director Elena Beltrami, who took over from founder Andy Wood in April 2024, remains staunchly devoted. “Como No is more than just a music promotor,” she explains. “We’re committed to building long-lasting, respectful relationships with It’s shaping up to be a landmark year our artists. Our dedication goes beyond the performance itself – we’re dedicated to reaching new audiences, securing spots in prestigious venues, and providing strong PR and marketing support .
