A brand-new D1999 is seen shunting the coaches of a King’s Cross train at Bradford Exchange on July 2nd, 1966. The loco had been taken into stock on June 25th, 1966, and was allocated to York depot.
The old Bradford Exchange station was replaced by a smaller modern station and is seen on March 6th, 1977, the opening day of the new station. HST 253021 is on display and 47409 is ready to depart with a train to King’s Cross. Over to the right is 47410 with another express.
