One line where services went ahead was the Leighton Buzzard Railway, former Portuguese Orenstein & Koppel 0-6-0WT ‘Pedemoura’ pictured departing Pages Park on 4th December. The inset shows a topical seasonal scene on the world’s most northerly tram system which celebrated its centenary in 2024. Sjors van Dongen tells its story in this issue.
