WILLIAM REES-MOGG published his masterwork, with James Dale-Davidson, in January this year. It was entitled The Great Reckuning: Huw the World Will Change in the Depression of the 1990's, but unfortunately did not receive a review in this magazine because the publishers, Sidgwick & Jackson, neglected to send us an early copy, and no reviewer of sufficient stature was able to consider it in the time available. We hope to review it in paperback later this year. Lord Rees-Mogg, a former Editor of The Times and High Sheriff of Somerset, is chairman and proprietor of Pickering and Chandos Ltd, booksellers, of Pall Mall, SWI.

DENNIS SEWELL is Producer of the brilliant Week in Westminster on Radio 4.

SIMON WATNEY is an art his rorian and critic. He is also a director of the National AIDS Manual. His last book was on the art of Duncan Grant (John Murray), his next one, Practice of Freedom: Selected Writings on HIVIAIDS will be published later this year.

LYNN BARBER's masterpiece Mostly Men, a collection of her interviews from the Independent on Sunday and Sunday Express, comes out in paperback in July from Penguin .

MURRAY SAYLE, foreign correspondent and yachtsman, who was in the forefront of the Australian invasion of Fleet Street in the late 1960s and 1970s, now lives in Japan with his beautiful wife Jenny . Although he came late to fatherhood, he is immensely proud of his three children . They all live together in a paper house which unfortunately burned down not long ago, but has since been rebuilt .
