A warming world Atmospheric concentrations of greenhouse gases are now at levels unprecedented in at least the past 800,000 years; the ten hottest years on record have all occurred since 1998; sea ice is melting; sea level is rising; glaciers are receding; and spring is coming earlier every year. It’s becoming increasingly difficult to ignore the fact that the world is warming.
