Handmade Craft Abigail’s Drapery is a family run business in the heart of Lewes, Sussex. Founder, Abigail Petit is passionate about hand-crafted, natural textiles. She specialises in cotton but caters for all textiles lovers at abigailsdrapery.co.uk. The founder of Gossypium, she now runs her eponymous store in Lewes providing an alteration service for all types of garments and selling some lovely homewares, toys and craft kits. We fell in love with her new range of toys, made from organic cotton and stuffed with washable polyfill. Check out Zoe Rabbit (pictured) who measures 35cm from ear to toe with eyes and nose handstitched with cotton embroidery floss. She wears a white dress, which is made from white cotton with a pink ribbon sash. And it’s easy to play dress-up as her outfit is fastened at the back with Velcro.
