Learning how to make deodorant is easy, and if you are looking for a way to stay fresh with less chemicals here’s how to do it. Many of the shelf deodorants include parabens and aluminum and health concerns include cancer, and Alzheimers. I like this deodorant much better than normal stick deodorant. It doesn’t make armpit hairs stick together and I haven’t had any problems with it affecting the colour of my clothes. WHAT YOU NEED: corn starch and bicarbonate of soda. The corn starch will absorb and trap moisture, while the bicarb serves as an odour eliminator. Measure out an equal amount of corn starch and bicarbonate of soda. Stir it or shake it until mixed completely. You can store you homemade deodorant in pretty much anything you like. A salt or pepper shaker will do the job. An old makeup tin with a powder puff will work. To use, thoroughly coat your entire armpit. One application should easily last for a day, some people find it lasts for two.
