COOL CLOTHES THAT TELL TALES Where Does It Come From? was founded by a Jo Salter, a mum of two young boys who just could not find practical, attractive clothes for them that ticked the boxes for ethical, environment friendly and traceable. ‘We are passionate about creating gorgeous clothes,’ says Jo. ‘Not only do we think a lot about the design, but we also ensure that our processes have only positive effects on the people involved and on the environment too. Our strapline is 'Cool Clothes that Tell Tales' because our customers can find out the creation story of anything they buy from us. They simply need to visit our website, enter the code they will find on their label and their garment’s story will be shared with them.’ The brand launched in June 2014 with a range of denim clothes for kids, and then created some gorgeous, handwoven, block-printed ladies scarves for Christmas 2014. ‘This summer we have brought in organic shirts for kids made from hand-woven, organic cotton and block-printed with tigers, elephants, tortoises or ants.’ All these are available at wheredoesitcomefrom.co.uk
