Painting by Syrian artist Nazir Nabaa for Zakaria Tamer on his 44th birthday mind and feelings, carrying him away from being provoked to hope for the substitution of a dark and corrupt world by one of lyrical lamentation. I claim that I write the story in an intense, condensed and expressive language that is far removed from chattering and also far removed from the modern compositional style that replaced the traditional style [of romantic sentimentality].
Is your literary loyalty to the story form driven by that intense, condensed and expressive style of writing?
