Cotna Eco Retreat

Cotna Eco retreat is a beautiful organic smallholding, spectacularly situated in its own peaceful valley close to several Cornish beaches. It is a magical location to inspire, restore and reconnect with the earth. Stay in one of our two beautiful yurts, our new Shepherd’s hut or choose the slightly more luxurious Straw Bale Barn. These overlook a valley of apple orchards, vegetable gardens, streams, ponds and woodland. Relax and enjoy delicious food from the smallholding – fresh salad leaves, organic eggs, sourdough bread, jams and chutneys. Or participate in one of our courses, learning about wild food foraging, sourdough bread making or vegetarian cuisine. Nearby you can visit Cornish landmarks like The Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan and the proper little fishing village of Mevagissey. At the end of your explorations, relax with a drink or meal at the excellent Barley Sheaf Pub, just a 5-minute walk up our track.

“Cotna is extraordinary for its peace, friendliness and most beautiful nature. You’re creating one of the most brilliant pearls on earth – THANKYOU. We’ve enjoyed our ‘family retreat’ very, very much!”
