PHOTO STORY South Andalusia is a stronghold of the most threatened cat on Earth, the Iberian lynx Lynx pardinus. Thanks to Life+Iberlince, one of Europe’s biggest conservation projects ever (almost £50 million has been spent during the past 15 years), the species’ IUCN status has improved from Critically Endangered to Endangered.
