MATT PRITCHETT The Best of Matt 2017

The best of the best! a brilliantly entertaining look at the last twelve months through the eyes of multi-award-winning cartoonist Matt. Nobody does it better.

Always look on the bright side – the genius that is Matt proves that, no matter what is happening in the world, Matt’s superb cartoons can always raise a smile.

The Best of Matt is a wonderfully funny look at the last twelve months – from President Trump to train strikes, from the confusion that is Brexit to the vagaries of the British weather – this collection manages to make looking back a much funnier pastime.

A Christmas must – this year, and every year.

‘That rare thing – a daily cartoonist who never fails’ The Times

Matt Pritchett studied at St Martin’s School of Art in London. He has been the Daily Telegraph’s pocket cartoonist since 1988 and received an MBE in 2002.

EMILY DOBBS Sri Lanka

Easy, vibrant and fresh modern sri lankan recipes with an East to West conversion chart.

Emily fell in love with Sri Lanka at a young age whilst travelling with her family from Galle to Colombo, where they ate curry with their hands and drank coconut milk straight from the tree.

Determined to bring the food she loved to the city where she lives, Emily founded her authentic Sri Lankan street food stall, Weligama, in Druid Street Market in 2015.

With praise from the Evening Standard, The Telegraph and The Guardian for her Sri Lankan hoppers, her debut cookbook will be an explosion of colour, Sri Lankan culture and flavour.

Emily Dobbs trained as a chef working at top London restaurants including The Dock Kitchen, Ducksoup, Petersham Nurseries and Spring. She taught herself how to cook Sri Lankan food after falling in love with the cuisine, founding her street award-winning street food stall, Weligama, in 2015.
