The Cartographer Tries to Map a Way to Zion
Kei Miller was born in Jamaica in 1978. He earned an MA in Creative Writing at Manchester Metropolitan University and a PhD in English Literature at the University of Glasgow, where he is now Reader and teaches Caribbean Literature and Creative Writing. Kei won the Caribbean Rhodes Trust Fellowship in Cultural Studies in 2013 and the Silver Musgrave Medal from the Institute of Jamaica. He has published books of fiction, essays and poetry.
