DONNA BRENNAN Donna Brennan creates sculptural jewellery and photography, crafting narratives from image to object. Her installation Hortus

Conclusus explores the concept of an enclosed garden. Presenting artificially natural forms against a blurred photographic backdrop that alludes to borrowed scenery, or “shakkei”, she creates a veritable garden of earthly delights that explores the concept of Nature/Artifice. Brennan completed an MA with Distinction from the Royal College of Art, London, in 2010 and has had solo exhibitions internationally, including the Museum of Decorative Arts in Dresden, Germany, and Gallery Marzee, the Netherlands. Her work sits in museum and private collections internationally including the Swiss National Museum, Zurich, and the Victoria and Albert Museum, London.
