THALEN & THALEN In a world of short lifecycles, the artists Thalen & Thalen create objects that last. Since 2006 they have translated their love for silver into creations that reflect their passion. They work in fine silver (999/000) and create objects mostly made from one single sheet. Some of their creations require over 25 kilos of silver and can grow over a metre in height. Their tactile creations invite touch, their silk-like surfaces next to almost paper-thin, crumpled elements in partly transparent vessels. Silver is the ultimate material to express their passion.
