PROMOTIONAL FEATURE LIAIGRE Interior design house that supports new craftsmanship Since Christian Liaigre opened his first showroom on Paris’s rue de Varenne in the mid-1980s, the Liaigre name has been synonymous with luxurious, sophisticated simplicity. Its interior designs are renowned for their clean lines, naturally inspired tones and high-quality materials. From the beginning, the idea of design drawing on natural materials and excellent workmanship matched the concept of favouring arts and crafts in the spirit and tradition of French furniture. Liaigre and Collect share the same vision for cherishing and championing craftsmanship in its most unique and exclusive expression. Liaigre collaborates on a regular basis with UK and international artists, and is strongly committed to supporting new artisans who use both traditional and contemporary techniques to create refined, high quality work. This selection of artists embodies Liaigre values: pieces that cultivate discretion and depth, where the simplicity of the objects hides the sophistication of their execution and where art, craft and modernity come together in a permanent dialogue.
