The unique manuscript in which the Pearl poem survives, along with its sister poems Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, Cleanness and Patience, is held in the British Library (MS Cotton Nero A x). Dated c. 1375–1400, it is on permanent display in the Sir John Ritblat Gallery as part of the ‘Treasures of the British Library’ collection. Selected images are available at www.imagesonline.bl.uk.
For a facsimile of the entire manuscript, with an introduction by Sir Israel Gollancz, see the early English Text Society original series 162, London 1923, or British Literary Manuscripts Online (BLMO) at www.gale.cengage.com.
