Sometimes it can be a case of viewing your environment from a different perspective, such as taking book hide-outs outdoors, using the home corner for a story session, or refreshing signage around the sand and water play area. A key strategy is to integrate books into every activity area, using them to develop children’s abstract thinking through storylines and characters.
