POTS FOR ALL SEASONS
PLACES FOR POTS The welcoming world of container gardening, with its limitless potential and numerous virtues, opened its doors to me. I entered and became engrossed, obsessed, even possessed. At the advanced age of fifteen, I realized that planting in pots was a pursuit that engaged me mentally, physically, emotionally and creatively. It still does: I’m ever discovering new plants and the possible combinations are unending; the activity keeps me fit; and there are many moments of elation, healthily balanced by occasional disappointment and drama. Containers allow us to present and enjoy our favourite plants in lively and intimate ways, elevating them in the best light and to maximum advantage.
