Its inevitable that as time goes by, fewer and fewer of our original rockers, be they British or American, are around to entertain us. Many have died of course, some like Wanda Jackson have retired, others like Jerry Lee Lewis appear to have done so without announcement. Some, like Tommy Steele, gave up years ago. So,with so few left, its sad to know that arguably Britain’s premiere rockin’ elder statesman, Joe Brown, has announced his next tour will be a ‘farewll tour’ after 60 rockin’ years.
