DON’T SCRAP BTECS The Government has recently completed a review of Level 3 BTECs and other applied general qualifications in England. The main proposal is to introduce a twin-track system of T levels and A levels at Level 3, where most young people pursue one of these qualifications at the age of 16. As a result, funding for the majority of BTEC qualifications will start to be removed from 2023.
