130-year-old Magazine The Writer Launches Modern Digital Archive

The Writer has developed a brand new digital edition in collaboration with archiving specialists Exact Editions that is available for individual and institutional subscriptions. Accessible at the click of a button across web, iOS and Android devices, the 28 issue-strong resource will grow in size and value to writing enthusiasts, professionals and academics alike with each new issue published.

Founded in 1887, The Writer is one of the United States’ oldest magazines focussing on the craft of writing. The title is published by world-class media company Madavor 12 times a year and is designed for those who are passionate about books, authors and writing. Each issue includes strategies and tips for writers of all levels, including practical industry news, expert how-to guides and profiles of both successful authors and emerging voices.

Subscribers of the new archive benefit from the Exact Editions platform’s selection of intuitive navigational tools, including linked contents pages and URLs, a thumbnail view of issues on the web reader and a comprehensive search function that permits users to use advanced Boolean search to easily pinpoint references to specific topics.

The Writer is available in the Exact Editions individual and institutional shops here:
