Poetry London Launches Complete 24-Year Digital Archive For Institutions

Poetry enthusiasts can now browse and search the complete back catalogue of Poetry London thanks to a new digital archive created in collaboration with archiving experts Exact Editions. Available for institutional subscriptions, the fully-searchable resource will grow with each new issue published and allows for seamless access to a treasure trove of work from emerging and acclaimed poets.

Poetry London has risen from modest beginnings as a listings newsletter into one of the UK’s leading poetry magazines. Published 3 times a year, each issue features poems and reviews from London and far beyond, including work in translation. The title casts its net wide to include the latest from Europe, America and around the world, and Steve Berg, Editor of the American Poetry Review, commented that the title’s “eclectic international editorial vision makes [it] one of the very best, essential poetry magazines in English.”

A comprehensive search function allows readers to dive into digital issues stretching back to 1996 at their leisure, whilst Exact Editions’ intuitive web and app platforms allow users to jump between years and decades at the touch of a button.

Poetry London is available in the Exact Editions institutional shop here:

Digital subscriptions will be an excellent vehicle for extending Poetry London’s reach far and wide into institutions around the world.”

Managing Director of Exact Editions, Daryl Rayner, commented: “The glowing words of approval from prestigious poets speak for themselves; Poetry London is a vital resource for academics and enthusiasts alike and we’re delighted to welcome them to the platform.”
