System launches on Newsstand.

LONDON 23rd May 2014

The recently launched fashion magazine, System, have collaborated with Exact Editions to bring the bi-annual title to Apple’s Newsstand, giving fashion lovers from across the globe the chance to read this latest couture magazine on their iPads and iPhones. System explores the entwined relationship of fashion and contemporary culture, from art to technology via celebrity; System takes a contextual look at the world of fashion rather than simply focusing on brands and fashion houses.

The brand new app has been developed in partnership with digital magazine experts Exact Editions. Exact Editions apps are designed to ensure that the original magazine is the focus of the app, with no gimmicks, but a clean design that will instantly marry the aesthetics of the title with the fantastic iPad retina display. The System app gives subscribers the ability to read, search and share back issues as well as each new issue of the magazine. The Exact Editions technology means that every url is linked, each page can be bookmarked and read offline, and articles can be shared via each major social network.

Daryl Rayner, Managing Director of Exact Editions said about the app launch: “High quality titles such as System are ideal for the iPad, and it’s Newsstand marketplace. The magazine looks wonderful on the retina display and will be popular all over the globe.”

Blake Abbie, Managing Editor of System said: “We are delighted to be able to bring System to Newsstand. With the iOS app, we can reach an ever growing global audience”
