The London Magazine on Apple's Newsstand

Leading arts and culture journal, The London Magazine, has embraced the digital age with the release of a new mobile app. First published in print in 1732, readers can now subscribe to a digital version available as an App on all iOS devices. An exact copy of each issue is available for reading at home or on the go, fully downloadable to an iPad or iPhone. The venerable magazine which has published the like of T.S Elliott, Sylvia Plath and Doris Lessing, is available on a mobile platform for the first time, taking pride of place at the cultural forefront of Apple's Newsstand.

The brand new magazine App remains 100% faithful to the printed edition. Subscribers to the London Magazine app can read the latest essay on Murial Spark by Robert Hosmer, poetry by Mimi Khalvati, and art reviews by Edward Lucie-Smith, anywhere in the world at the press of a button. The 'freemium' model of the App, allows readers to sample the magazine and read a selection of articles from the latest issue, before deciding whether to subscribe.

Developed by digital magazine experts Exact Editions, the London Magazine app enables readers to search not only the latest issue, but previous issues going back to the beginning of 2012. Exact Edition's optimized search feature allows subscribers to instantly find a relevant article from any of the supplied issues. Furthermore the London Magazine App offers It's subscribers a new level of social interaction. Each article available on the App can be shared via a number of social media tools, including Facebook, Twitter and email.
